Dark Star led by founder Thomas Lee Howell went on to tour Europe and the greater part of the United States until 1999. Thomas Lee Howell aka Tom Lazer began writing film screenplays and completed nine novels
after a spinal cord injury stopped him from effectively performing on stage.
He is well known for his science fiction and horror material and has written a 16 episode action adventure TV series entitled Hegira based on his novels Hegira, Flyte and Fumar.
